How do I get my purchase?

A link to your purchase will be emailed to you.  There is sometimes a short delay with the email link.  If you do not receive a link to your purchase please check your spam folder and also check you entered the correct email address.

Your purchases can also be accessed through the "my account" tab on our website.  

If you are unable to access your purchased files and a link hasn't arrived within 15 - 30 minutes, please contact us for help.  


Downloading MP3 files:

All of our music downloads are in MP3 format. This popular format may be played on your computer, iPod, or MP3 player. MP3 files may also be burned to discs, using your own disc-burning software.
If you are having difficulties with MP3 files:

  • Ensure that the file has completely downloaded before attempting to open it.       
  • Ensure your mp3 files have been extracted from the zipped file.  Zipped files will not play music and must be "opened," "extracted to..." or "unzipped" first.  Once opened, you'll then have mp3 files that will play on your computer and on your mp3 player. Similarly, only mp3 files can be burned to a CD, not zipped files.


Opening zipped files: 
Most of our downloads are delivered to your computer in compressed (zipped) files. Zipped files assist you in downloading your music and resources in the most time-effiicient manner.  Most Macs and newer PCs already have un-zipping software installed. In the unlikely event that your computer lacks expanding software, you can download free un-zipping software from WinZip or StuffIt.


In newer versions of Windows right-click on the zipped file and select "extract all".  This will take you to the extraction wizard where you can easily copy and save your files in a usable format.

Downloading PDF files:

PDF (Portable Document Format) files ensure documents retain all the original elements.

In order to view and print PDF files, you need Adobe® Acrobat® Reader™ installed on your computer. Most computers already have this software installed, but if yours does not, you can download Acrobat Reader for free from the Adobe web site.  Visit http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html


It is recommended that you have the most up-to-date version of Adobe® Acrobat® Reader™ or at least version 7 or higher. PDF documents can be downloaded and saved to a local drive.


Opening a PDF file:

Locate the file on your computer and then simply double-click it. The file will then open up in Adobe Reader at which point you will be able to navigate through the pages and print.

BeatBoppers.com uses Acrobat version 7.0 to create and distribute PDF documents.


Troubleshooting PDF files:
If you are experiencing problems viewing or downloading .pdf files, here are some things to try:


  • Ensure your file is unzipped.  (See “Opening zipped files”)
  • Your security settings may be set to high.  You can check these by going to ‘tools’ – ‘options’ – ‘security’.   
  • If you get error messages this usually means that you have MORE than ONE version of Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer. What you need to do is delete them both and then re-install the latest version appropriate for your version of Windows.
  • Make sure you have the latest version of the Acrobat viewer installed. You can get this software for free at www.Adobe.com. This is the most common solution to the problem of viewing the .pdf files. If you have trouble installing or using Acrobat Reader, please visit the Adobe support page at http://www.adobe.com/support/products/acrreader.html.
  • Internet Explorer Users: If you have Acrobat Reader installed, and are using Internet Explorer browser, you may have trouble displaying large PDF documents directly from the web. If any PDF link displays only a blank screen when clicked, right-click on the link (click and hold on a Macintosh), and save the file to your hard drive. Then open the PDF file in Acrobat from your hard drive.
  • The PDF must fully download before you can view it.  Sometimes the screen may even say "done" when it is not done. So, please just wait patiently for it to download completely. Some files are up to 7 MB in size and it will take some time for each to be saved to your hard drive. If you have a slow connection or the server is very busy or the PDF is very large you may receive a blank window until the PDF finishes downloading.
  • Check to see if the document has opened in a different window. Try minimizing your open programs one-by-one, in case the file is open where you can't see it.
  • Refresh the window you are viewing.

Printing PDF files:

When printing Adobe Acrobat PDF files from within your web browser, do NOT use the web browser print facility. Instead, use the print button at the left end of the special Adobe Acrobat tool bar, which appears immediately above the viewing window. You will then get a "Print" pop-up window which will give you several options, including the option to print the entire document, or you can specify 1 or more pages to print.

Troubleshooting PDF printing:

If you have Acrobat Reader installed but have trouble printing a particular document, try selecting "Print as image" when your system displays the print options window. Choose File > Print, and check the "Print As Image" option in the Print dialog box, and try printing again.

Receiving your downloads: 
If you do not receive an email after submitting your order please check your junk mail folder and add us to your safe-senders list.  Also check that you entered the correct email address for us to send the link to you.  There is sometimes a delay with the link being emailed out, however, if you haven't received a link to your purchase within 30 minutes, please contact us for help.

Support for burning CD's

  • Please remember to burn your MP3 files (not the zipped file) to the CD according to the instructions of your CD-burning software.
  • You will probably want to select the option to create an "Audio CD," not an MP3 CD.
  • There are dozens of different CD-burning software programs available, and unfortunately we are unable to offer support once you have successfully downloaded the files to your computer.  But here are some links that you might find helpful:

We're sorry, but downloads are not refundable or exchangeable.   We will work with you to ensure that you are able to successfully transfer your downloadable merchandise to your computer. We regretfully are unable to assist with CD-burning, transferring to MP3 players, or other functions beyond the downloading of files to your computer.
